Four-Star General Michael Hayden spoke

during AAPEX to remind attendees that

the Web is the largest ungoverned space

in history. General Hayden is former

director of the Central Intelligence Agency

(CIA) and the National Security Agency

(NSA). “We are indeed vulnerable ... and

the wise consumer is the individual who

understands that he/she is buying vulner-

ability, as well as convenience, and works

very hard to reduce the vulnerabilities,”

said General Hayden.

a newly designed and more comfortable

Buyer Center at AAPEX 2016. With its

private meeting rooms and interpreters,

the center was the perfect setting to meet

with U.S. companies that export.
